Too early for VC

We were told last week that we were too early for PE funding... but then again we were introduced to another one who is very interested in what we are trying to do last Thursday. Meeting tomorrow with a government grant specialist who works on no win no fee basis.

People are building commercial demonstrators

..we have a lot of irons in the fire at the moment that will produce a Pilot Plant, whilst our technology is different we will create a project that will have a profile like this

Bashing the bankers

George Osbourne has pledged to make the banks lend more money to small businesses..does that mean we should get the application forms in to HSBC now then. I think not somehow, what they need to do is unshackle the banks stop bashing them every two minutes and let the economy get going again by reducing the red tape.

The thing I have found most surprising in the last couple of years is the vast number of Government Agencies in each and every region of the UK that are in place (still) to advise/tell business's how to raise money but none of them will give you any money in the form of grants...that appears to be still up to the private sector to fund emerging technologies.

Frustrating to say the least!!!

Lots of offers on the go...but nothing solid yet, any ideas why?
